The average woman spend £2.39 a day on their skincare and make up routine – find out how you stack up
Are you a beauty product junkie or do you prefer to stick to your trusty make up staples?
With the rise in popularity of premium anti-ageing potions, miracle lotions, retinols, acid peels and sheet masks, many women might be more than a little shocked if they totted up the actual total cost of the contents inside their beauty cabinet or make up bags.
New research from high street retailer, Fragrance Direct , claims women spend an average £2.39 on their daily skin and make up routine, the same amount as a daily Starbucks flat white coffee.
The survey of 1,000 women across the UK also showed that us Brits use an average of 12 different products for our face, totalling £113.77.
Or even more if you’re aged between 16 and 24 years old where average products used increases to 16, worth a whopping £153 .
Serums were revealed as the most expensive facial beauty purchase which on average costs £17.41 per product.
However, the price jumped for 20.5% of women surveyed, aged between 45 and 55, who admitted to spending over £30 on this product alone in a bid to combat signs of ageing.
